Riding Some Waves
Allie Sewell
Welcome to my website!
Hey everyone! My name is Allie Sewell and I am a junior at Georgia Gwinnett College. I am currently majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. I created this website for my Digital Media class and to show everyone one of my favorite things to do during the summer. Growing up, I always enjoyed going to the lake. A couple of years ago, I learned how to wakeboard. Although it was challenging at first, I fell in love with it. This previous summer I learned how to wake surf. Now, this was way more challenging than wakeboarding. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to wake surfing, but I am looking forward to seeing progress this summer in both wakeboarding and wake surfing.
What is the difference between Wakeboarding and Wake surfing?
Wakeboarding: You are strapped in boots while you are wakeboarding. You also have to hold onto a boat-towed rope in order to keep yourself up.

Wake surfing: When you are wake surfing, your feet are directly on the board. You have the choice to get up with a boat-towed rope or you can get up without the help from a rope. Once you are comfortable with riding the wake that the boat makes, you can let go off the rope and ride out the wake.
